Medidyne has entered into an agreement with GaleMed for distribution in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Finland. This collaboration strengthens our respiratory care portfolio and brings a user friendly solution for expiratory muscle training to the Nordic market: GaleMed’s EMT.

A simple and effective EMT

GaleMed’s EMT is designed to improve respiratory muscle strength and endurance through targeted expiratory resistance training. The device features an adjustable PEEP valve ranging from 5-20 cm H₂O, allowing users to begin with low resistance and gradually increase the load as their respiratory performance improves. This progression friendly design supports individualized therapy and ensures that patients at various stages of respiratory weakness can benefit from safe and effective training.

The device is built for ease of use, cleaning, and assembly. That way, it helps clinicians integrate it seamlessly into rehabilitation programs and enable patients to maintain regular training at home. Moreover, the EMT can be combined with nebulized respiratory drug delivery.
